Hello!! My name is Vicky Mariconde, and I welcome you to the “Love, Loss and What’s Left” blog.
My intention with this blog is to encourage you to look at what you still have left AFTER the delete button has been hit on a very important part of your life!!! All of us have dealt with grief and/or loss, at some point in our lives, whether it be the loss of: loved ones; jobs/careers; health; finances; relationships, or our independence, amongst other things.
We may feel like…..I have loved, suffered loss and what in the world is left for me??? I am here to assure you that there is something left!!!
While there are no cut and dry, hard and fast rules concerning how one should grieve, there are many basic similarities in the ways that we do grieve a myriad of losses.
I lost my wonderful husband Larry suddenly in 2005, was married again in 2008 to another wonderful husband, John, and sadly, he also passed away, in 2014. Having suffered the loss of two husbands in a 9-year period, it is my prayer that the sharing of my experiences and coping mechanisms will in some way resonate with each of you, and help you to walk out your loss with the expectation of a greater ending than what you presently see. I will share my story in future posts……so keep checking in!!
